Terms of Service
Last updated: June 12, 2026 · See also the Fair Use Policy.
1. The service
BlobCode provides an AI coding agent for VS Code and an API gateway that routes requests to large language models. Access requires an account and, for paid tiers, an active plan.
We may update, add or remove features at any time. We aim to keep the service available around the clock, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.
2. Accounts & API keys
You are responsible for your account and every request made with your API keys. Keep keys secret; rotate them from the dashboard if you suspect a leak.
One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to dodge limits or farm referral credits is not allowed and may lead to suspension.
3. Plans, payments & refunds
Paid plans are one-time payments processed by Stripe and grant 30 days of the purchased tier. Plans don't auto-renew - when a plan expires, your account returns to the Free tier.
Request allowances are weekly and depend on your plan. Unused weekly requests do not roll over, and any allowance remaining when a plan expires is forfeited. Referral credits, by contrast, never expire.
Payments are final once the plan period has started, except where consumer law says otherwise. If something went wrong with a charge, contact us and we'll sort it out.
4. Usage limits
Each plan includes a weekly allowance of weighted requests plus a daily limit. Requests are weighted by model - heavier models consume more of your allowance (see the Fair Use Policy for the current weights).
Some models are restricted to higher tiers (for example, Claude Fable 5 requires Pro or above). The gateway enforces these limits server-side.
5. Referral program
You earn credits when someone signs up through your invite link, and both of you earn credits when they buy their first plan. Credits are bonus requests spent automatically after your weekly allowance runs out.
Self-referrals, fake accounts, or automated signups void the credits involved and may lead to account suspension. We may change or end the referral program at any time; earned credits stay valid.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use BlobCode to break the law, to attack systems you don't own or have permission to test, to generate malware, or to harass people.
Don't probe, scrape, resell, or white-label the gateway, and don't attempt to extract or reverse-engineer the underlying models or system prompts.
7. Your code & data
Your code remains yours. Requests are processed to provide the service, enforce limits and debug problems; we keep usage logs (model, request weight, status, timestamps) - not your source code.
You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated code before using it. AI output may be wrong, insecure, or unsuitable for your purpose.
8. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlobCode's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
9. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the website or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
